Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon 2017

Wow, now that's a good looking Wrangler!

For the off-roaders, the front axle gets tougher housing tubes and “heavy-duty end forgings,” which should offer better resiliency against damage when rock crawling. In addition, the  differentials get cast covers, again for rock protection.

The Rubicon’s rock rails have been shortened to accommodate 35-inch tires. The Rubicon Recon comes riding (very aggressive) 32-inch BF Goodrich KMs.

We really like the interior -  black exterior trim pieces, red accents, and it looks as if the dash gauge cluster has been revamped.

According to FCA, the Rubicon Recon will start at $39,145 for the two-door and $42,945 for the four-door Wrangler Unlimited but still priced competitively against the Rubicon of the past.

Our recommendation is get one while they last.
